Robert C. Larson, Chairman Emeritus

Robert C. Larson was one of the nation’s most respected real estate executives. Most recently chairman of Lazard Real Estate Partners LLC and Larson Realty Group, Mr. Larson was a director of numerous national and international real estate organizations, including Denver-based UDR, Inc., where he was chairman of the board. He also was a trustee of the Urban Land Institute, whose Detroit chapter honored him in 2007 with its lifetime achievement award.

Mr. Larson served in senior leadership roles with Michigan-based retail real estate developer The Taubman Company from 1974 to 1998, when he retired from active management responsibilities as vice chairman and director. DOWNLOAD FULL BIO [pdf]

Eric B. Larson, President and CEO

Eric B. Larson is the founder, president and chief executive officer of the Larson Realty Group. Larson Realty Group is a privately owned, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan based company engaged in real estate investment, development, asset management and leasing.

Mr. Larson is also the founder and president of Community Investment Support Fund, a nonprofit organization recently established to promote economic development and facilitate investment of capital in support of community revitalization and the nonprofit sector.

Prior to establishing the Group, Mr. Larson was a partner and senior vice president with Bruce S. Brickman & Associates, Inc. a New York based real estate company. Mr. Larson was responsible for the acquisition and asset management of the company’s portfolio, coordinated the firm’s repositioning of 150 West Jefferson in Detroit and Northlake Office Park in Atlanta and was instrumental in the formation of a subsidiary management company. Cari L. Easterday, Director of Finance

Cari Easterday is responsible for developing and implementing the property accounting standards, procedures and systems used for property administration.  She oversees the day-to-day accounting operations, reviews the budgeting, prepares the operating expense projections and reconciliation, provides cash flow analysis and prepares all monthly, quarterly and annual reports for Larson Realty Group. Just prior to joining Larson Realty Group, she managed a portfolio of approximately 750,000 square feet, as a senior tax accountant, at Cendrowski Selecky, P.C and handled all aspects of the accounting process for their property administration division.

From 1998 to 2001 Ms. Easterday held several positions within Bruce S. Brickman & Associates, Inc. a New York based Real Estate Company. Ms. Easterday was the assistant property manager of 150 West Jefferson until April 1999. As assistant property manager, Ms. Easterday developed the preventative maintenance and work order system currently being used at the Property. In May of 1999, Ms. Easterday became the Controller for Brickman Associates’ portfolio (150 West Jefferson, Detroit; Northlake Office Park, Atlanta; 150 East 52nd Street and 660 Madison Avenue, New York). As controller, Ms. Easterday was responsible for all aspects of financial/accounting functions of approximately 2.5 million square feet with an asset value of over $430,000,000. She oversaw the day-to-day accounting operations, reviewed annual budgets, prepared operating expense projections and reconciliation, and managed the financial reporting to the owner and tenants.

Matthew M. Robertson, Project Manager

Matt Robertson is responsible for overseeing the development and construction activities at Larson Realty Group. Mr. Robertson brings a progressive approach with a strong rapport/understanding of trades, architects, engineers, public officials, vendors and tenant/clients. He is well versed in all aspects of design build, negotiated and lump sum contracts, contract negotiation, project costs, document preparation, building code review, permitting, site management and sustainable development practices.

From 1996 to 2005 Mr. Robertson was a project manager with JM Olson Corporation, a Michigan general contractor. During his time there he was responsible for the planning, oversight and management of commercial construction projects for more than 3.5 million square feet of development. His responsibilities included design and drawing review/analysis, preparation of construction documents, bidding, sub-contractor selection, scheduling, project estimating/budgeting, quality control and supervision of crews of up to 120 union and non-union tradesmen.

David G. Grabowski, Director of Engineering

David Grabowski is responsible for the coordination and oversight of all Larson Realty Group engineering activities. Mr. Grabowski leads the engineering staff for the portfolio and sets direction for the constant improvement of the Group’s individuals and assets. He holds a 1st Class Refrigeration Operations License, C.F.C. Certification, Microbiocide Certification and is well versed in Energy Star/sustainable initiatives.

Prior to joining the Group, Mr. Grabowski was an assistant Chief/1st Grade Engineer for Hines. During his 10 years with Hines David was responsible for central plant operations, preventative maintenance, mechanical/physical facilities maintenance, equipment repairs, service calls, water treatment, inservice training, supervision of tenant renovations, scheduling of all contract services, ordering/purchasing of all equipment and materials at Comerica Tower in Detroit, Michigan. While he has been with the Group, he has overseen such properties as 150 West Jefferson in Detroit, Michigan and Koll Corporate Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
